Mum. Where to start, well happy birthday seems a good place. I cannot begin to express how much of a hole you’ve left in my life since departing us. I wake up feeling incomplete everyday. I’ve lost that unconditional motherly love, my best friend and the one person in the world who knows me inside out. I always stroked your hair as my way of showing affection to you, I will always carry the moment with me when despite your pain in hospital, you managed the strength to stroke my hair for the first time, actions speak so much more louder than words……it was our very own special goodbye. I love you, I miss you and I’m eternally grateful for everything you did for me. If tears could build a stairway And memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again God bless you
